Questions before you schedule? Start here.
These answers explain common Icare pathways in plain language. Call our team when your situation needs a more specific answer.
Starting care
What services does Icare provide?+
Icare offers outpatient primary care, mental-health evaluation and medication management, counseling when staffed, substance-use and recovery-focused care, care coordination, and eligible telehealth services. Exact eligibility and active services vary.
How do I become a new patient?+
Call 702-988-3177, tell us the type of care you are seeking, provide scheduling and insurance information, complete the required forms, and meet with the appropriate clinician.
Do I need a referral?+
Some services or insurance plans may require a referral or authorization, while others may not. Call with your plan information so the team can explain the next step.
Can Icare verify my insurance?+
The team can help check available benefit information. Verification does not guarantee coverage or payment; final responsibility is determined by your health plan and the services provided.
Can I receive a Good Faith Estimate?+
Uninsured or self-pay patients may have the right to receive an estimate for scheduled non-emergency care. Contact Icare or review the Good Faith Estimate page.
Visits, medication, and recovery services
Do you offer telehealth?+
Telehealth may be available for eligible services when the patient’s location, clinical need, insurance, and current rules allow it. Some concerns require in-person evaluation.
Can I get a medication refill without an appointment?+
A refill may require an appointment, monitoring, laboratory work, or records. Request routine refills before medication runs out and use the approved clinical channel.
Do you prescribe controlled medications?+
Medication decisions follow clinical evaluation, safety, monitoring requirements, and applicable law. A visit does not guarantee a prescription for any specific medication.
Do you treat substance-use disorders?+
Icare provides outpatient assessment and recovery-focused treatment within its active scope, including medication treatment for opioid use disorder when clinically appropriate.
Do you provide detox or residential treatment?+
Icare is an outpatient practice unless specifically stated otherwise. If assessment shows that medical withdrawal management, inpatient or residential treatment, or another higher level is needed, the team can help identify external options.
Can you help me find recovery housing?+
Icare may help identify independent community or recovery-housing resources. Availability, eligibility, quality, and placement are not guaranteed, and clinical care is not conditioned on using a specific provider.
